Meet your facilitator

Rosa

Hello, I’m Rosa and my passion is to support school leaders through the lens of collective and transformative leadership. I believe that anything is possible in education and am known for shifting staff from an individualistic to a collective mindset. Individually we can’t. Together we can!

In shifting from competing to collective commitments, we can strengthen our school growth efforts to better ensure that every child thrives.

Recharge, Reflect, Refocus is about doing the reflective work that needs doing when leading a culture of care and collective responsibility.

I can’t wait to meet you and to support your ‘next practice’.

End the day with yoga

Carla

My name is Carla Fletcher, and I will be your yoga instructor. I’m dedicated to guiding individuals toward physical and mental well-being.

Having worked as a Youth and Family Worker within the Vancouver School Board for over 20 years, I’m passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students and their families and strive to support youth to overcome challenges and build resilience for a brighter future.

When I’m not in the classroom or doing community outreach, you can find me teaching at Oxygen Yoga and Fitness. Having experienced the transformative power of yoga in my own life, I felt a desire to share this gift with others. As a yoga instructor, I aim to create a space where students feel supported, encouraged and inspired to discover their own strengths. Each session is an opportunity to connect mind, body and spirit, fostering a sense of balance and harmony.
